Note From Donnie Cook, Associate Pastor, Minister of Music and Senior Adults:

God's Word declares to us that "God inhabits the praises of His people."  It has been my joy to serve as one of my ministry responsiblities as Minister of Music.  God called me into the music ministry of the church in 1977.  It has been my joy to lead in worship and praise through song, since my first ministry opportunities at Ogelthorpe Baptist Church in Ogelthorpe, GA in  1977.  It has been my joy to lead in music ministry here at Liberty Baptist Church since July 8,1987.  I have been blessed to have worked with such a dedicated and gifted group of Christian people these past twenty-one years in the choir at Liberty Baptist.  What has been so unique about our choir and church is the ethnic diversity of our group at Liberty Baptist.  Brother Billy Graham has said on a number of occasions that the most segregated hour in America is 11:00 a.m. at her houses of worship of God in church services.  I am thankful that this is not the case with Liberty Baptist Church.  It is my hope that you will visit our church family soon and discover what God intended for His church: "that whosoever will may come!"  It is my prayer that more churches and choirs will come to Peter's realization that "God is no respecter of persons."  I hope you will visit and be ministered to by our Sanctuary Choir this Sunday at 11:00 a.m.  If you feel that God is calling you to minister for Him in song, you are welcome to join the Liberty Baptist Adult Choir.  Our only requirements are that you love the Lord and love to sing His praises and rehearse with the choir each Wednesday night at 8:00 p.m.   For our friends in the armed services at Ft. Benning, you'll find your church home away from home here!  This church is not so large that you will feel neglected and forgotten.  Please try us just once.  I just know you will not be disappointed!  May God richly bless you is my prayer!
